Job description

  • Handle full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing processes;
  • Prepare financial analysis, management reports and annual budgets;
  • Partner with various Service Units to resolve daily accounting matters;
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies for annual audits and project-based/event-related audits;
  • Actively participate in financial system enhancements and internal control improvement initiatives;
  • Assist in the testing, implementation and further advancement of new accounting system;
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline;
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Student membership of CPA or equivalent professional accounting body is highly preferred;
  • Previous experience in external or internal audit will be a definite advantage;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and able to work independently to meet deadlines;
  • A good team player with a positive mindset and proactive attitude;
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Associate Officer.
